課程概述	宗教是人類學研究的主要範疇，但對於基督宗教的研究多集中在個別社群的獨特經驗，並未以基督宗教作為主要的研究主題。二十一世紀初，陸續有學者提出anthropology of Christianity的焦點，以正視基督宗教的重要性。對於非西方社會，基督宗教的進入，必然涉及宣教與改宗的糾葛，我們往往先看到教會作為政治與經濟資源入口的機會，但制度化的教會也示範了新的組織形式與人的養成以及現代性的關聯。
課程目標	本課程將提供選課同學寬廣的研究視野，與進一步研究的準備。
課程要求	課堂以討論為主，同學需在事前充分閱讀，並在周日5pm前上傳兩個問題。課程共十六周，其中有兩次作業幫助大家初步認識基督宗教的例行展現。另由於課程觸及議題多，學期當中需繳交三份書評，以協助閱讀進度與理解。書評分三個部分，第一個部分是提出主要閱讀材料的主旨、論點、方法與材料，第二個部分須參考另一份相關的閱讀資料，並同樣整理，最後的部分則是就主題討論兩文的相關性。期末繳交一份學期報告，事前須先與教師討論主題與大綱(11/29當周)。作業I： 10% 作業II： 10% 書評I： 10% 書評II： 10% 書評III： 10% 學期報告： 50% 作業I：拜訪教會或博物館，從空間、時間、物或活動說明你所觀察到的基督宗教經驗。字數限1800字以內，可含影像。10/14上傳COOL繳交。作業II：參加一場宗教儀式，並記錄過程，含空間、時間、人與物等條件。字數限1800字以內，可含影像。11/4上傳COOL繳交。書評I：書評分三個部分，第一個部分是提出主要閱讀材料的主旨、論點、方法與材料，第二個部分須參考另一份相關的閱讀資料，並同樣整理，最後的部分則是就主題討論兩文的相關性。字數限1800字以內。範圍出自第二至五周。10/28上傳COOL繳交。書評II：同上。範圍出自第六至九周。11/25上傳COOL繳交。書評III：同上。範圍出自第十至十五周。1/10上傳COOL繳交。學期報告：本文7,000字以內，1/10上傳COOL繳交。
